Welcome to the website of Surface Chemistry Laboratory. Thank you for your access. Dr. Izumi is a chemist in the fields of surface chemistry and X-ray spectroscopy. This webpage presents research fulfillments, research topics in progress, and the future prospects of his group at the Graduate School of Science, Chiba University, Japan. The research aim is to precisely observe the surface process of catalysis and environmental science, to design chemical models of high function, and to feed back to the environment and energy saving. The daily life to find the laws hidden in nature and to discover the methods to precisely analyze the nature is steady and persistent. However, news describes what I feel during such daily life. I am very happy if you bookmark this page.
